Sarah Tar has been a member of the Pines coaching staff since 2008. She
is a member of the United States Figure Skating Association, the
Professional Skating Association, and Pines Figure Skating Club. Sarah is
USFSA Gold Medalist in Moves in the Field and Freestyle, and is CER
trained in the Professional Skating Associtaion. Sarah skated for twelve
years competitively, and trained with Olympic coaches, including Frank
Carroll. She has been teaching basic skills group classes and private
lessons for approximately ten years.
Sarah teaches recreational and competitive students from toddler to
adults. Sarah's expertise includes basic skills, freestyle, moves in the
field, choregraphy, and off ice training. Sarah trains her students for
test sessions, competitions and shows. When Sarah is not on the ice
teaching, she actively works as a prosecutor enforcing child support
orders.
