Group classes are available for skaters 3 years old or older. All skaters under age 5 are required to wear a helmet. All skaters must wear gloves.

Our 8-week program provides classes for beginner to advanced skaters. These programs will prepare students to move on to other programs such as hockey, figure skating or recreational skating.
Please arrive 15 to 20 minutes early to register on first day of any session.
This is a great way to begin your skating experience for only $59.00! If you want to be a hockey player, figure skater or recreational skater, this is the first step to get on your way.

$59.00 includes FREE skate rental and FREE practice session after each class.
Helmets (5yrs and younger) and gloves are required.
There are NO make-ups for the class and the class may not be pro-rated so contact the Skate School for exact dates that fit your schedule.
The next step after completing the 3-Week Class is the 8-Week Learn to Skate Class for figure skaters or recreational skaters. The Hockey 101 (Introduction to Pre-Hockey) is suggested for the aspiring hockey player. Skaters must have required skills before entering this class, please check with the Skate School for details.
Our 8-Week Learn to Skate Program is designed for skaters of all ages and levels. Figure and recreational skaters are divided up into levels. Aspiring hockey students are placed into our Hockey 101 Class. Students will be tested at the end of each session and the evaluation will determine whether they proceed to the next level in our 8-week course.
The cost for the entire 8-Week Class is $169.00. This includes skate rental (if needed) and includes free public sessions for the duration of the class.
Levels for the 8-Week program are:
Tots: covers basic marching, gliding, stopping and other basic skills
Basic 1-2: covers backwards skating, gliding on one foot and stops
Basic 3-4: covers forward crossovers, two foot spins and turns
Basic 5: covers backwards crossovers, hops, advanced stops and one foot spin
Basic 6-7: covers bunny hops, lunges, spirals and ballet jump
Basic 8: covers beginner waltz jumps and beginner scratch spins and other moves
At the end of each 8-week session, skaters are evaluated by the coaches to see if they are ready to move up.

Skating camp is offered for all ages and levels. Beginner through
advanced, enjoy a full or half day learning to skate, doing off ice
training, arts and crafts, off ice activities and much more!
